Joint Base Langley Eustis is a Virginia location that offers recreational hunting for military hunters. Since 2004 there have been hunting opportunities for military personnel. Hunting opportunities exist for whitetail deer, small-game, and waterfowl. Fort Eustis Wildlife Field Biologist Adam Priestley manages the designated hunting areas. Permit to hunt small game/fish/fur

Anyone who wants to harvest wild mammals or fish is required to obtain a small-sized game hunt/fish/fur Harvest Permit. The permits are required for residents on active duty and those stationed abroad. A resident hunting license can be purchased for as low as $5 by active duty military personnel. A Montana military stationed can purchase a Montana resident license within 30 calendar days.

If you are a member of the armed forces, you may qualify for a small game hunt/fish/fur harvest permit in Nevada. Hunting deer requires a non-lottery license. To qualify, you must be a citizen of the state. If you are stationed outside the state, you can purchase a hunting license by paying $9. The state requires that you have proof of military service to be eligible for this license.

Requirements to hunt licenses

A resident hunting or fishing license is available for active duty service members who are stationed in a particular state and have been there at least six months. To qualify for these discounts, they must show their military ID and deploy papers. Additionally, spouses and children serving in active duty military personnel may be eligible for resident rates to purchase licenses. You may be eligible for a discount if you're an active-duty military member but not a resident of the State.

If they are leaving Alaska, they must surrender the Alaska driver's license to the new state where they will be living.

Alaskan military reserve personnel, veterans, active duty military personnel and active duty military personnel can receive fishing and hunting licences at a discount rate. Licenses may also be available for disabled veterans at no cost. The applicant must have lived in Alaska at least 12 consecutive months and have not been discharged.
